About Connie, Christian Author
Putting down her childhood roots on a farm near Eureka, SD, Connie
spent many carefree hours playing with the cats and dogs. One of her
favorite memories was walking through mud puddles in the spring rain
with rainbows overhead. She marveled at the splendor of night-time
stars.
Later, her roots spread to touch the cities of Aberdeen,
SD; Grand Forks, ND; Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN; Decatur, IL; North
Platte, NE; Wichita, KS. and now Bismarck, ND. Wherever she went, Connie
carried her wonder for words and her voracious appetite for books. She
majored in English and minored in Spanish. Teaching was second nature to
her, so she taught in schools wherever she went. Even now she teaches
Healing Room Kids and leads bible studies.

“Besides my love
for music and sewing, I have always had an inquisitive streak. I began
playing chess in grade school. My dad and I learned from a book since no
one else in the area played the game. Chess played a positive role in
our relationship from that time on. It also taught me the benefits of
perseverance.
“Curiosity drew me into dabbling in macrame,
ceramics, scrap booking, drawing, and selling reading kits in my spare
time. My family was always a priority and a delight. “After my
husband’s spinal cord injury, caregiving and physical therapy became an
integral part of my life for over fourteen years. That sparked an even
greater interest within me for healing and prayer ministries. It served
as an impetus to passionately seek the Lord and His strength in the
hidden place.”
